Roong Reuang Coach publishes one fare per departure point. From Ekkamai Bus Terminal fares start from 144 THB per seat. From Mo Chit 2 Bus Terminal they start from 155 THB per seat. The operator also lists a Bangna pick-up point with fares from 144 THB per seat. All of them run to Pattaya Bus Terminal on North Pattaya Road, and the published journey time is about 2 hours, although Bangkok traffic often makes it longer.
Why Ekkamai and Mo Chit cost different amounts
The small difference between the two fares reflects the distance from each terminal to the motorway, not a difference in comfort or service. Mo Chit 2 sits in northern Bangkok and the bus covers more ground before reaching the highway, so the fare is slightly higher. Choose the terminal that is easier to reach from your hotel, because the transfer across Bangkok will cost far more than the few baht you save.
Airport bus fares are separate
Airport services are priced independently of the city terminals. Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya Bus Terminal costs from 135 THB per seat, boarding on Level 1 near Gate 8. The operator also runs an hourly Suvarnabhumi to Jomtien service from 158 THB per seat, which is a different route with a different arrival point. From Don Mueang Airport the operator's booking system lists fares from 164 THB per person to Pattaya, while the official airport page still shows 155 THB.
Return fares from Pattaya
Coming back, the fare depends on which Bangkok terminal you arrive at rather than where you board. Pattaya to Ekkamai costs from 144 THB per seat and Pattaya to Mo Chit 2 from 155 THB per seat, the same prices as the outbound direction. Pattaya to Don Mueang Airport costs from 164 THB per person in the operator's own booking system; online resellers charge more, so buying directly from the operator is the cheapest option.
What the ticket price includes
The fare covers one seat on a scheduled coach with luggage stored in the hold. There is no separate baggage charge for normal travel luggage, no seat-selection fee and no booking surcharge at the counter.
